Skout Airguns Whisper moderator available now!

If you’re following the thread you probably saw I have anIA 1350. So after seeing your post about the Tesla insert , I’m glad I got the whisper mod. I had ordered the Tesla mod. Because that’s the one they had on their website.
So Darryl from Skout called me and said he would upgrade my order to the Whisper mod. It makes the report much quieter and is a joy to shoot
Makes sense, as it costs the same and you're getting better suppression levels.

When I ordered my Skout, I inquired about the efficiency of the Tesla insert and was told that if I already had a Donny, to just stick with that, but if not, it works pretty good. Since I didn't have the Donny at that time, I got the Tesla insert, but when I tried it out, I wasn't satisfied and ended up trying a Donny Yokozuna. In my case, the Yokozuna was substantially better than the Tesla.

I guess the Tesla is good if you don't need extremely quiet and it's compact and doesn't need an adapter. The Whisper seems to step it up, as it offers an option to others who have PCP other than Skout brand.

I have the Donnie FL Shogun that’s meant for a 30 caliber, but I also shoot it with my .177 and it’s very nice and backyard friendly.
I’m shooting 13.34 grain 177 pellets so it’s pushing quite a bit of air and a .30 caliber moderator even on .177 works fantastic.
I forgotten how loud one of the scout guns are with no moderator at all.
It took one shot with none on in my backyard and it sounded like a firecracker going off on my ear. So any moderator even the stock Scout one which is really just an air stripper still helps quite a bit.
I actually took pillow stuffing and packed it into the stock skout stripper as an experiment and it worked really well.
I‘ll post some before and after numbers this afternoon.
