Skout Airguns Whisper moderator available now!

I think I'll stick with my own design, all I can hear is the action.

Ok, ok …. Hold up! tell me about the grip you have on your Epoch !! I can’t stand the grip on mine. It sounds like a creaky door. the EVO is fine…. the Epoch… not so much.
And that ajustable thing attached to the bottom ?
I replied to your PM about the grip, the adjustable think is a 3D-printed bag rider file that I found and modified, useful if I am trying to test pellet accuracy and as a rear stand.

I just picked one of these for my Skout Epoch Compact. It’s listed as 30 caliber and below. Mine is 30 cal. It’s considerably quieter. With just the stock air stripper it was uncomfortablely loud.
Do you have experience with any other moderators? I believe what you’re saying about the stock air stripper being loud. When I got my 25 Evo, I never even tried it with the stock air stripper, as I had the Tesla insert, and to me that was too loud for my liking. I then put on a Donny Yokozuna which made a considerable difference. I’d like to know if the Whisper moderator can do better.

I like the size and design of this moderator. When they come out with a 22cal, I'd be anxious to compare it to the IA1350 on my RAW.

I have an Impulse Air 1350 on my 22 Cal. RAW I bought an extra baffle for it as the raw was also very loud. I would say this whisper moderator quiets the Skout so it’s about as quiet as the Impulse Air. Don’t have a sound meter so it’s just perceived sound level.

The 25” barrel with the stock moderator was way too loud for backyard shooting. When I put a FX/DonnyFl on the 25” barrel it was much better.
The 35” barrel with the stock moderator was not too bad, but with the Whisper it’s amazingly quiet.

Thanks! Looks like I'm gonna hit them up during their sale.

If you’re following the thread you probably saw I have anIA 1350. So after seeing your post about the Tesla insert , I’m glad I got the whisper mod. I had ordered the Tesla mod. Because that’s the one they had on their website.
So Darryl from Skout called me and said he would upgrade my order to the Whisper mod. It makes the report much quieter and is a joy to shoot
