Nice! No scope grooves on the receiver and a squared stock at the tang? If so, it's a first-gen model.

1rst variant, b. The picture reveals the tongue on the stock. Should be a date code on the end of the receiver plug. Beautiful gun. Sweet find. Congratulations!

Looks like my first gun. Nice find. Don't remember where it went but wish I had kept it. Next was 22 crosman gone too, in move to Florida I think. Wish I kept them.

I had a Crosman 760 and a Diana 23 as teenager wish I kept them. So many memories that include my airguns and my dog in rural CT.

Still considered a first variant. Not an 1st “A“ (square tongue on the receiver but a 1st “B“ (round tongue on the stock ). This is how the collectors differentiate the two. Crosman categorizes them both as just a 1st variant.2nd variant, I see a rounded tang and grove, either way very nice
