AirMaks Arms Katran Compact in .22 - recommended moderator?

Are you saying FX has its own in-house or is it the DonnyFL FX Moderator?
The Donny FL "FX" moderator. The tanto is slightly skinnier than the diameter of the stock muzzle device. Using both in conjunction really hushes the gun to a high extent, if you don't mind the gap from the airmaks 3 chamber mod to the tanto, it'll be just fine. I'm somewhat neurotic and it ground on me. The tanto gave me great suppression at 90b running 10.3gr at 890-900 to 115b running 13.5gr slugs at the same or higher velocity. If you plan to shoot at 30 I'd personally leave the reg alone and shoot 10.34s and 10.03 slugs. The gun will be near silent.

edit: keep forgetting "COMPACT". I don't know what velocity they're advertised at, but yeah, thats what the "L" model did.

I won't be running slugs with the .22 compact and will be starting off at 800fps, but I'll verify that upon receipt. No expert - never have been on anything, but 800 seems like an okay spot for the grains I plan to run. I know these variables all have an effect on which moderator works for the users setup.
I had a .25 tanto on a .177, which was louder than the .22's and .25's i tried the tanto on. really did a good job, so I think it's safe to assume at that velocity you'll get ideal results.

Haven't decided yet on a moderator. Just getting setup with scope and rings.

Seeing what the AN forum members with the Katran Compact .22 are using for moderators. Will be running 14 to 15 grain pellets in general. I did contact UA to see what they recommend as Katran sellers. Majority of the shooting takes place around 30 yards or less. What are you running for a moderator?
I am an AirMaks Arms dealer. I use a Yokozuna or Fat Boy II on my Krait and Katran (I'm also a DonnyFL Dealer)

Utah has the Airmaks 40 short and long moderators. Match up with and amplify the performance of the stock device.
The DonnyFL Fat Boy II is effective on the SC and compact. The DonnyFL Yokozuna has modules that can be removed, not only to reduce the size, but to further tune, the harmonics. While I am a stocking dealer for AirMaks Arms for their PCPs and most accessories, I have found the Danny FL products to be superior to any moderator that is currently available. That's based on my opinion in my experience using them every day on AirMaks Arms PCPs. Moreover, I have a 100% 60 day total satisfaction guarantee on any of my products except consumables.
