What did you do airgun related today.

After doing some groundhog hunting with my new SUB MOA 30cal barrel on my Ghost HP with slugs earlier this week, I swapped back to my original 22cal barrel and did some pest bird hunting with it using my 25.39 redesigned pellets today. What a day for shooting pellets it turned out to be too, no wind and cloudy and the birds cooperated.
I missed a few shots and made a few shots and ended up taking 28 birds overall. I considered it a really good day.

My airguns have been neglected for the past couple weeks while we worked on much needed cleaning and sprucing up our home and property. The urge is getting very strong now.
I have a break in the work today as I wait to pick up the Gator and the line trimmer for the shops. The line trimmer is getting a tune up and the Gator is getting a new rack and pinion unit.
I might use the time to fire up the Castin' Shack and pour, weigh and size some .25 cal. pellets.

My airgun activities have taken a back seat, this time of year food planting takes priority.
Now caught up on crops, I found time today to get the new kid out of the cabinet and fasten some glass.

My can of leak detection foam showed up yesterday, and I will tell you that the videos on youtube were wildly exaggerating the size of the bubbles compared to what I saw. Theirs looked like your kid blowing bubbles in the park, mine was a little fizz. However, it did work; it was pretty obvious that it was leaking at the external regulator adjustment knob.
If its a small leak. I get the same bubbles with my home made leak detection dish soap & water.,

It's 6:45 here in Tucson , Az , and thank goodness it cooled down to 107° it was 112

Yeah I use .065 line as a pull through to clean barrels. Lol.

Today I went out back to use the Tuxing Twin compressor to fill my 6.8l the thermometer on the compressor works all the time so the ambient temperature was
110° I plugged in the water pump , and it brought it down to 100°. Going to have to freeze some gallons of water in the lay down to toss in the 20 gal water supply.
It's in a 40 gal tote , so I got room.

OldVet sure would like to see some full pics of that beautiful airgun.
This is a glamor shot.
I got this gun is 2009 to shoot Field
Target. I was using a Browning Leverage shooting open piston. I sold everything I had to get this gun. I then practiced every day till I went to the US Nationals in 2015.
Now I am remodeling it to shoot Hunter class at my field target club. Been a long journey with this gun.

I got a new regulator assembly for that Rainson Edge I've been playing with. It came in the mail today, and I replaced my old regulator. It's sitting there aired up while I'm goofing off on the internet working, and I'll check it in a little bit to see if it holds air. Fingers crossed.

I also (last night) filed off the nicks in the old regulator and measured the o-ring that was by the nicks. Replacing that regulator assembly wasn't a big deal so I might see if I can resurrect the old one.
