Beeman Beeman .25

I would try to find a .20 and return it to factory. No experience with the RX1 or 2 but have had a couple HW90’s in .177. Way over powered for that small a caliber IMO. They are a magnum rifle and would perform at their peak in either .20 or .22 .

Out of curiosity, do you know what the rifle currently put out for power? There are lighter weight .25 pellets available.

Just clamp the barrel to a bench or table and push down on the butt. It will easily straighten right out. You will be back to enjoying my favorite caliber. Just stick to FTTs. they are light enough for that gun.
I’m afraid that option has passed. It was rebarreled many years ago.
Does anyone make lead free .20 ammo?
I love .20 also!

I do not. It’s been sent to Airgunwerkes. This can be discussed when they get to it I imagine.

I have the similar HW80 in both .20 and .25, and let one go in .177 since it was too much for that little pellet. The .20 works better than the .22 I had for a little bit, as HW barrels are just weird in .20. In .25 it is my go to rifle for pesting and squirrels. I prefer iron sights and the trajectory isn’t hard to get used to.

The .25 probably is an anchor when it hits.

I own rx1 & rx2 in .177 .20 .22 all are great rifles. I'd leave it chambered in .25 cal.

If salivating for a .22 cal rifle. Keep an eye out and buy one.
I’m starting to think that leaving it the way it is, is the way to go.
It also offers me the opportunity to purchase another in .22. Maybe an HW77 or 97!😎
