RAW Rapid what material is the Raw HM1000x valve made of

The (large) valve body cost in Holland 33.95 euro ( 39 dollar) which is in my opion very expensive for what it is.
A complete valve cost 115 euro (132 dollar) for that kind of money it worth making them my self.

What is the the material the valve is made from, Nylon or Peek ?

I made a new valve housing from delrin. I bought a 3/4” x 6” piece from Amazon for less than 30$ CAD ( snow pesos) much more cost efficient than buying it for the 200$ they wanted shipped to canukistan.

In okt 2024 the valve, valve stem, and valve body cost 46.50 euro. And now only the valve stem cost 47,50.

With these prices I will make it my self or hire a machinist to make them.

I will get some peek, nylon and delrin and start experimenting.

There have been several variants over the years.
Brass, stainless and nylon bodies.

The oem poppet is most likely nylon. But I would suggest peek if you want to make your own.
