Tonight’s Dog Walk Carry 🤘 (show&tell)

I walk my dog every evening and that gives me an excuse to carry a airgun. Here’s tonight’s “Dog Walk Carry”. Airmaks Katran CB and of course a knife on the belt.

Feel free to share your Woods Walkers in the comments below. Something light weight and easy to carry. If you’d carry a big ol 10lb+ rig. Feel free to share that too. I like to see them all 😂🤘

Happy Shooting,
Rob

Blade description please, looks nice

Blade description please, looks nice
It’s a Morseth Hunter that was sold by AG Russell(catalogs). Blade is laminate steel and about 4 1/2” long with Micarta handle. Handmade knife made from late 70s to early 90s.Kinda confusing history so I won’t get into it lol.

It’s a nice knife, one you have to handle to really appreciate. Scored it at a garage sale over the weekend.

You have good taste in knives…thanks for sharing. John

Is that a Randall in your avatar?…
Good eye. You must know knives atleast a little bit then. It’s a Randall model 7 but I had it rehandled. One of my favorite makers Treeman knives(Jim Behring) of Michigan did the handle. He used some beautiful red stag for the handle then capped it in brass. Here’s another pic of it and a before and after. You into knives?

Nice!…into knives way over my head. First Randall was a No.1….carried it all over the world in my previous life. My brother is a custom maker too. Nice GEC too!

You in knife groups on FB? If so I’m sure we know mutual people. Thanks for your service 💪 #1 is such an iconic knife. I know of a Chris Taylor that makes custom slipjoints. I’ll just PM you lol

No knives to post, but do carry a bench made bugout everywhere. The rifle is a shortened barrel (16” ) MK2 Rapid in .25 cal with some serious mods. Shoots 33 grain JSB’s at 880 in this configuration. I can swap out the barrel to the OG barrel in 23” and hit 1000fps without stressing out the rifle. No pics of the dog either. But she sure likes pointing out anything with eye balls.

I like it! I hear great things about those older rapids. All those older PCPs were so nice. Great wood and metalwork, built to last.
