N/A GK1 slow leak

It does stop and hold. Trying to figure out why does that.
Every single gun I have does that. Forcing an incredible amount or air into a confined space generates energy in the form of heat, which causes a slight increase the amount of space air molecules take up. The energy is slowly released through the tank or cylinder as it radiates heat and the air slightly decreases in volume. You have less pressure.

Fill slower or top off when the cylinder cools.

does it stop?
i'd imagine it's just the standard post high pressure fill temperature settling.

@rcrawford58 Do you top off your GK1 fast or slowly? What do you use to fill your GK1s? Have you felt the temperature of the carbon fiber around your reservoir directly after topping it off? If so, how does it feel?

It is normal. You do not have a leak.

When I start to fill the Gk1 the mpa is at about 14-15, it then fills in about five minutes. I haven’t checked the reservoir temperature but will the next time I fill and get back to you.

@rcrawford58 What do you use to fill it? A hand pump. SCBA tank, or compressor? Which pressure do you normally your GK1 to?

I use a compressor to fill. The carbon fiber feels slightly warm after filling. It will fill from 14–15mpa to 32 mpa in about five minutes.

@rcrawford58 As someone else stated, after the reservoir cools off it’s normal to lose a little pressure. Losing 1-2 mpa doesn’t seem too bad. It’s really only around 150-300 psi. It certainly doesn’t sound like a leak. If it bothers you, you can top it off once the reservoir cools off if it won’t stress your compressor too much.
