What springer did you shoot today?

Spent most my time working on range, on the 46 yd. range. Was cleaning my wood shop a found a pile of plates.

Also tried to drill a #6 wood screw through the plastic base of these army men. These guys are a nice challenge at 46 yds.

Just twice slipped off on the throbbing finger. Then I set up a jig on the drill press and drilled a hole in each base.

Got a bag of 300 of these for 20 bones. Sometimes you have just a leg to shoot at. Great targets. Crow

I shot the first 30 RWS 7gr pellets with the new Beeman R7. It’s been a long time since I shot iron sights over 10m. This was at 18yards. I did a casual shoot and balance rested the rifle on a bag, like in the photo. This was just part of the wear in and getting the iron sights close.
I have to say, it’s sooo nice having a quality springer! Let the adventure begin.
My last group is circled in green, all 5 shot groups. I did flip the box at one point, it needs some more rubber mulch.

Is that the latest version? The Beeman R7 part needs to be bolder, needs stand out more.

Yes, ordered late last week and arrived new from pyramyd yesterday
The reason I asked was I had talked to Mike at Flying Dragon Air Rifles and he has some in house. Will reach out to him Monday on the R7 to see if those have the gaudy logo. Back in the day the poor man's Beemans had that bold print.

This afternoon took out 4 of the best. The HW77 .177 is again the starter.

Next is my newest. A HW77 .20. Could do a weekend conference on the joys of this keeper. Every time I use it, it just gets better.

Next HW77 .22. This gun came over the boat the same time as the .177. Bought 2nd hand and talked to seller. Bought same time same dealer.

And last a HW77k .25. What a gun. When I get a camera, is is the one.

All great guns. Hall of fame stuff. Great day, Crow.
