FX Fx king .22 straight out the box

Am currently waiting on my fx king .22 fac am wondering what weight slugs should I been going for as standard straight out the box without upgrading anything as I’ve heard of people up grading the hammer to heavier one to fire heavier slugs over 30gr , any info would be appreciated as it’s my first fac slug gun and new to it all

First of all you kinda posting in the wrong category! Lol
But as far the King goes there's no need to upgrade anything. You can tune it pretty easily to shoot any slug you wish! As long as it's the 600/700mm barrel. The 500 with a smaller plenum is more geared towards pellets.
It's a different animal than an impact and was designed to be a slug gun. FX hybrids are always a good starting point but like I said it's easy to tune to what ever you wish to shoot! It's a rabbit hole and be prepared to do lots of testing.
Mine is .25 cal and I'm tuned with a 34 grain at 980fps! My reg is only at 125 bar so I have a bunch of room to go heavier if I want but don't see the need for the pesting I do!
