Brocock/BRK Brk Sniper..what a rifle!

There's been a lot of threads on here praising the Brk Sniper, maybe even one written by me, but I had to write another.
We airgunners are a fickle lot, what trips our buttons one day, may hold no interest at all the next. Sometimes, like today, I get to working on an airgun that just drives me crazy. My buddy's Avenger suddenly stopped shooting fantastic and I can't find a single thing wrong with it. Sometimes you start thinking, "is it me"? Sometimes you need to walk away and clear your head and go back. BUT, sometimes, you need to pick up a "known quantity" and shoot it to get your confidence back and get your head on straight. That "known quantity" for me, is the Brk Sniper 22HR I have. I don't care what scope is on it, what ammo you tune it to, or how long it has set without being used, you can pick it up and instantly start hitting the EXACT mark it was sighted in for....EVERY TIME. I must say, of all the airguns I've owned, shot and worked on, this is one steady, reliable performer. I've had, probably four or five, Snipers in two different versions, magnum and std, and all have shot well, but this one is special, it is the most accurate airgun I believe I've ever owned (and I own some shooters, for sure) and I bought it right on here a long time ago. Whoever sold it to me, and I can't remember who it was, did me a huge favor. I've shot this gun more than any other and I know it's going to hit what I aim at. With pellets, at 100 yards, resting off the bed of my truck I can do 1-1/4" groups, not bad for me.

My one question is...why are so many in the classifieds and why don't they sell better than they do?

They do appear in the classifieds, but I wouldn’t say that there are many listed. Other than that I agree with you on its solid reliability and accuracy…

I just got from our classified. So far so good. $50 uuq scope on it right now.
Will do some scope trading amongst my guns, one of them‘s going to lose out.

I forgot small round count spensive magazines.lol
I get in the neighborhood of 140 shots from my Sniper Sahara .177 shooting the 13.4 grains JSB’s at about 820fps, which seems pretty good for a smaller, handy type of air rifle. When some marauding varmint on my property needs to die, the Sahara is the gun I grab.

I totally agree about the price of the magazines, though. Fortunately we have Darko at CARM, whose magazines work perfectly in both my Snipers, and only cost about $30 bucks a pop.

VERY happy with my Snipers.

Yes they are a little heavy and the while trigger isn’t the best on earth it is very predictable. I find myself grabbing my XR over others in my safe. I like the really sturdy barrel system, I know if I hit the barrel on something it won’t affect POI or have me loosening barrel bands to get it back to center. FX for the range, Brocock for everything else. Maple magazines in 25 are only 8 shots for these but the last 3 shots are marked. I have come to the conclusion 8 is better than a guaranteed 11th dry shot.
