Anyone using a suppressor? Is it needed? Which brand is the best? And how many decibel reduction can one expect? From what to what? New to the PCP world, having only used Springers and GR. Much appreciate the help!
I wouldn't shoot my PCP in my back yard without one. I would say depends on where your shooting. But it is pretty bad ass to have one on your gunAnyone using a suppressor? Is it needed? Same for me. My Avenger was pretty loud nekked, I have a DFL shroud piece and a FX Hollow moderator.I wouldn't shoot my PCP in my back yard without one. I would say depends on where your shooting. But it is pretty bad ass to have one on your gun
Forums are for discussion, they are not archives meant to be only discussed once and all else must read that singular discussion. Good job linking a classified ad, you didn’t help.@ Birdhunter, welcome to the forum. In regards to your question, I did a quick search function on Avenger. 22 and 10 pages worth of info popped up. Enjoy your read and toy.

@birdhunter DonnyFL is one of the most highly regarded suppressors.
Personally I think the hammer hitting the valve is the loudest part of the shot though and you need to tune that out if you want a truly quiet shot. Maybe do a few mods. But a suppressor certainly will help.
Oh no no I was responding to someone else before the suppressor.Sorry about the linking. Honestly didnt know I was doing that. This is the first forum I have ever joined....pretty forim illiterate at this end.
I’ve used buck-rail and donnyfl (sumo) and I actually strongly recommend buck rail. Donny is the best but you’re paying 4x for almost unnoticeable improvementsIf it is the original avenger and not the avenge x, then you will need a mod adapter. You can buy the adapter from https://donnyfl.com/products/air-ve...-x-20-adapter-a64?_pos=1&_sid=f9557fc77&_ss=r
they also sell moderators. I have used this one https://donnyfl.com/collections/ldc/products/1-22-x-7-inches-koi?variant=10383193767979
Also other vendors and makers. A cheaper option would be https://buck-rail.com/product/air-venturi-avenger-suppressor/
