GMI SLUG TESTING ALL CALIBERS

HI THIS WILL BE MY NEW THREAD FOR TESTING THE GMI SLUGS , I WILL BE MAKING AND POSTING ALL CALIBERS AND DIFFERENT WEIGHTS ,
I just got caMERA A FEW DAYS AGO AND i NEED TO GET USED TO IT AS IT IS A LEARNING , Ialso like to add these groups are from a wobbly plastic table I got , I do plan on getting a sturdy setup soon , so please take this into account , also read title of footage as some may be off hand or with a sling , if not stated then it is off table

OK first up fx king 357 m I found this gun will not shoot slugs under 101 grain Not sure why it is a new gun also I did order a slug probe and spring from huma , not much footage as the gun started leaking threw barrel *calve started leaking 2nd time )

That's pretty bad for 10 yards, JK :p, but at what distance were you shooting?

I used to shoot off a couple crappy tables until I found one at a 2nd hand store that weighed 150 pounds. It's very stoutly built so I put another 75 pounds of weight on it and since it's set on concrete it super stable to shoot of. It helps reduce flyers for sure.

With the other tables/benchrests I found myself relaxing as I kept shooting which caused me to lean against the tables more resulting in inconsistency. This inconsistency can be viewed through the scope by watching where the reticle lands after the shot is taken. Doesn't land in the same place means "not good".

Here is fx king 100 yards wind about 12mph I shot 127 gr and some 106 gr very tight 2 holes the 127 grain slugs vertical all in line so just wind moving slug a bit
then no video saved but this group 100 yards with 97 .5 gr

97.5 GR.jpg

then shot 106 gr this one was basicsllly 2 holes , I think wind died a bit from the first group with the 127 grains

@jwrabbit123 That FX King likes big hunks of lead. I can definitely understand that horizontal line. When I see that I feel like that’s a good slug to work with within the pressure range shot.

Edit: My mistake. That’s a vertical line in the target in your last video. I was thinking you had the target situated sideways until I read the numbers again. Which way was the wind blowing?

@jwrabbit123 What‘s your reg set at? Which slugs do you prefer to shoot from the King so far? Flat base? Tapered?
i tried reg so far 120 to 150 bar , i did just have it apart and installed the huma weight and spring and their pin probe for slugs , they only one i found who makes one , I still didnt find best tune I take it out again this weekend today i am working on 25 cal
