Theoben All in on .20

Sqwirl
The every CM or Eliminator I ever owned was a dead nuts shooter.
It's unfortunate that these classics aren't given their due. It's always the negativity that is expressed. IMO
There's a downside to every rifle.
Btw...glad you're enjoying the CM. I'm sure Will misses it.
it has a GOOD home..

I bought a HW95 .20 and love it. I shoot it with a Williams peep sight just to keep it light. At 25-30 yards I can hit 1inch spinners almost without a miss. No idea how accurate it really is as I have been trying to resist the temptation of putting a scope on it. It seems to be the perfect caliber between .177 and .22. The best of both worlds

The question will remain unanswered until you try. I think once you scope it, the scope will remain on. A little data for you to chew on. This is from my r9 .20 shooting the jsb 13's @ 705 zeroed @ 35 yds.

They are pretty straight shooters even out to 75-yards.
I tried to lighten up a bit by using a smaller scope but picked up a little weight because I wanted an illuminated reticle. My range backstop is black with white targets, so the cross hairs disappear at dusk.
Element didn't have an illuminated reticle at this price point so I went with an Athelon. 👍

Yeah, I think it really is almost the ideal caliber for power levels between 10 and 25 fpe. It's a shame it has become so uncommon.
I think it is the vast choice one has in "special " Pellets these days . Dome . flat (waddcutters ) , a cross cut in the tip , HP's and all designed for specific task (to sell more pellets ) So if a company has to supply .20 in All shapes that is a lot of investment and time . So if the '20 is not supplied in all shapes. Law of supply and demand . we the public swallowed all the hype
For example : does a hollow point or Baracuda pellet explode a Sparrow any better than the other ?
A dome puts a hole in a Squirrels brain , A wadcutter turns that same brain into soup . Yes i have dissected them to find out .
Question ? has any one used the same shape (Dome) and tested .20 VS .22 ?

Athlon makes great scopes. I've had several including this one on my Wildcat. 1-6, it isn't the best for target but a great hunting scope. It is also illuminated

I got my first Athelon on my Crown. I bought the whole package used at Utah Airguns.

It's not just the pellets, it's the lack of .20 options with new guns. Weihrauch is one of the only companies still making them and even with them they are practically a special order item. I'd love to get a .20 ProSport.
