What rifles have you bought twice?

Here is the problem when you buy a rifle that shoots great… and offers easy caliber swaps…

… then you buy just a barrel & prode in another caliber and try it… and it also shoots great…

…then after a short time, no matter how easy the caliber swap, you wind up buying another duplicate rifle, lol.

Yep… been there and still there 🙄

I have regretted buying two electronic guns, a Delta Wolf and a Skout Epoch. Just sold the Skout and will be selling the Daystate .25 Delta Wolf as soon as I qualify with enough posts. The Delta Wolf has fewer than 250 rounds through it. I will stay with mechanical guns for now on, I just ordered a RTI Mora in .25 600 barrel, should be here next week, I hope I made a good choice.
Why have you regretted buying the electronic guns ?

I may have already posted, but not willing to read through the ten pages, and it has likely changed since then ...

3x FWB300 variants - still have 2
3x Taipan Veteran 1 variants - still have 3
2x BRK Ghosts - still have 2
2x Air Force Condors -still have 1 (first was the plain Condor, the more recent and still in my possession is an SS).

And that's nearly all of what I've got. Duplicates represent about 85% of all my airguns.

Kalibergun cricket tactical 2 60, Kalibergun cricket carbine
Taipan vetran long, and Taipan Vetran tactical 700mm. Oh and recently 2 umarex zelos. All in 25 caliber with the exception of the Kalibergun cricket tactical 2 60 and on of the zelos love them all. Oh I almost forgot hatsun flash and flashpup both in 25.

Sounds like bullpup type electronic platforms are not your thing. I also sold my Deltawolf and returned my .177 Skout. Both were fine electronically but they didn’t balance well for me. Yet i ended up owning 2 ghosts.

I’ve bought a Pro Sport twice!
The first was .177
The second is.22 and not going anywhere
Great rifle’s but the .22 is for me 👌

Likewise, and have added a couple sine I might have last posted so here is the list.
Two each of FWB 124d, FWB Sport, FWB 150, FWB 65, FWB 80, HW 35e, HW 57, IZH 46M. S&W 78, Also numerous Crosman 22xx types, none original, all either modified or custom built by me. I really went whole hog over the last couple of months picking up the two very nice FWB 150's, one a Daisy model.

I know why I regretted buying my FWB 90 with electronic trigger - because folks are saying that once the electronics go bad, the gun becomes a paperweight since it's a 40+ year old airgun and parts are most likely not available for it. I guess I shouldn't say I regret buying it, but rather that I should have bought a FWB 80 instead when I had the chance, since it has a mechanical trigger.

I decided agains a FWB90, and went a pair each of models 65 and 80.

You see a lot of serial Veteran owners on this forum. It's almost a diagnostic condition. Such a great product thatI can totally see buying another as replacement therapy for sellers regret. Having redundant Vets tho not so much.

I'm always tempted to buy another Veteran but would need it to be different enough than the gun I currently own. Longer barrel, different caliber, tune or sights ..something to truly set it apart from what I already own.

Other than it offering an alternative shooting experience I would probably prefer to spend my money on a different product.

Yep, that's the whole reason for duplicates, another specific use different than the first.

When you know you like the action and trigger and build quality and reliability, etc etc, than it just makes sense to go with high quality when another use-case arises.

FX Maverick. One in 22 700mm and a 25 compact. I like the format so much I have a 22 500mm barrel and 22 600 barrel for it as well.
FX Panthera. One is a 25 600mm and the other is a 30 Comapct Hunter.
None of these guns have given me a lick of trouble. The Maverick is just a solid performer and the Panthera is a gun that builds plenty of power with none of the usual FX snake oil required to do it
