I'm interested in dimensioning NORICA OMNIA ZRS RECOILLESS FRAME, to see if I could put my HW 90 action in it by buying some Air-Smith machine shop work? The recoilless engineering is wonderfully and elegantly simple.
Love, love, love, my HW90 –.25, and have begun thinking about the tool as a field gun out to 50 yards. Coincidentally, a ZRS-.22 has come up for sale, and it immediately dawned on me that maybe the work is possible. Oh that WEIHRAUCH would license the frame from the owner, and update their HW 90! Obviously the ZRS frame/stock would reduce the weight of the HW90. (I bet the stock is not the license just the frame details.)
The sighting system would be peeps to start, but there is a sighting system for sale that has the shooter line up the tip of a pyramid sandwiched inside V-NOTCH in an extremely small package without the need of a front sight. People are reporting this new system takes more practice to master than peeps. Though, a quality small form factor 1 x 6 with accurate AO might meet hunting requirements as well.
ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
