Population Problem

Population problem? Not sure it's really a problem but I sure do have plenty of cottontails, seems like i can shoot almost daily. Lucky for me my dog sits by the window on lookout duty and alerts me when 1 comes into view and 2 outside cats perform cleanup duty when I do my job. Shots range from 95 yds and under if I want to stalk for a closer shot. Sorry no videos as I spend my $ on lead.

I hear you! Rabbits are everywhere now at my place. Just heard the same from the lady at the plant sale, a good population of them this year. I'm not a
videographer either , my strong suit is pulling the trigger😁. I can only take cell photos & email to whoever. I could not physically carry the necessary equipment to do so IF I could work it! I have a fellow air gunner that(graciously) volunteered to post my stuff on another forum for those that might be interested.

A good description like above doesn’t need images… It like when as a boy I read my first book without pictures. I gather that those are going to be fat cats. They are eating well…🙏

Yes the cats are well fed. They know the sound of a .22 or .25 caliber pellet or slug when it connects and can home in on it without even seeing what I was shooting. Great retrievers.

Rabbits are practically non-existent here in my area in S/E Pa. There used to be plenty of them and now if we see one, we talk about it for two weeks.
Same, few years back there were tons of rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks near me. Got an air rifle last year and I haven't seen any. It's like they all gossip.
