Air Venturi Avenge X .22 magazine issue

Just got around to sighting in my wife's Avenge X .22. The small 10 shot mag barely fits under the scope so I loaded it up. I couldn't get a pellet into the gun and ruined multiple pellets trying..... I pulled the mag out and noticed it's indexed to the very bottom of the opening in the mag so the pellet doesn't line up with the barrel breach or the pellet probe. I took the mag apart, frigged with it for awhile and put it back together, same thing... Needless to say it was a single shot tray kinda day... This is our first PCP so I'm wondering if this common with the Avenge X? Is there a fix or should I get a couple better mags from somewhere else that will work? I bought the rifle from Pyramid Air as a Christmas present.

Any info or help is much appreciated.

What a tough way to start a shooting session. Try contacting Pyramid Air to explain the situation and hopefully they will be able to make some suggestions or send you out a new magazine. I have choosen to use Carm magazines in my Avenge-X ( https://www.carm-magazines.com/magazine-for-air-venturi-avenger.aspx ) as they just work. Quick note for you - the Avenger and Avenge-X do utilize the same magazines.
