Learning about slugs

Honestly you are already here. This is a great place to learn and ask all your questions about slugs. I also seem to recall that Matt Dubber has a video or two about the basic ballistics of slug shooting vs pellets. Search him out on YouTube. I shoot an FX Crown MK2 in .22 and have it tuned for slugs. You are welcome to ask me any questions you like; either in this post or feel free to message me.

Long time (old) pellet shooter would like to learn about shooting slugs. FX Crown and / or Brocock Sniper, both 22.
Where is the best place to learn about entering the world of shooting slugs?

Thank you in advance for any replies.

A lot is trial and error experience, you may find a lot of weird dogma on forums around them. If your gun can shoot jsb monster redesigns fairly well and at 950 fps or so it should be able to shoot the 17-23 grain slugs similarly. (17 gr nsa is hit and miss in my experience)

This is assuming pellet liner with its associated twist rate and potential chokes.

Slugs seem to like 150 bar as a reoccurring theme for me too.
