So my friend got one of these, and it almost will not record speeds of anything on his DRS, but strange enough it work fine on several other rifles, some of them M30 SP / artemis ones that’s the same kind of rifle like a DRS

On my Two the chrono of course worked fine.
Until now.
Now it constantly loose connection to my phone, and a window pop up in the app, mind you it will still do its thing in the background, for a little while then it is for real lost and i will have to go to add devise again as the APP will be scanning for a connection. fully charged of course and1 M between chrono and phone.

So while it is connected for a few minutes it log all my shots and do NOT give off the crazy high / low speeds it will call out of thin air when attached on my friends DRS
This can be "shots " it log between 0 fps to several thousand fps,,,,, and no shot was fired, it can do this for a few seconds on its own just calling out speeds of 10 - 15 not existing shots.

Meanwhile my V1 FX pocket chrono are rock steady on my rifle and on my friends DRS too.

The chrono have already been replaced by the dealer 1 time, and TBH i am where it might be smarter to just get a refund CUZ this thing is worthless and a source of immense frustrations for my friend,,,,,,, actually i am amazed he have not yet flatted it with a hammer,,,,, nothing but grief.

I have a screen recording i will add later when i am finished cutting it down and uploading it..

Any suggestions are welcome, but i have to fix this by Thursday or it will be going back for a refund and my friend will be chrono less.

Yeah I bought this mini v2 chrono and it was acting up all I’ve the place,
I returned it to pyramid air.
u would not believe what I got now as a secondary chrono.
man I lI’ve this Orcair over the barrel chrono..

Yes my V1 compared to this new smaller one,,,,,, Bullet proof, just slap it on there and hit the road.
This V2 we or should i say i have experimented with all manners of parameters, from what little you can do in the APP to placement on rifle / beside rifle.

I am thinking about trying the buck rail chrono, but can only go that on barrel route as it also have a option to be moderated, i can not be bothered with noise when i shoot.

Okay could not wait, the V2 chrono seem to like my old UMIdigi phone, shot 25 shots across my apartment with the maverick and not a single anomaly

Only 1 problem, i ditched that phone due to battery problems, but i do pack a substantial power pack that could / can charge phone / digisight and laptop at the same time if need be, and if the laptop like to suck 200 watts, well go right ahead Mr laptop.

I did indeed, as one of the first things in trying to narrow this down.

I have also had some hickups on the V1 myself that i solved that way without contacting FX.
I still have, it seem like my phone like to boot the FX APP 2 times, and so if i am not careful i will get 2 speed readings ( same of course ) for each shot.
I have learned to overcome this, just let the APP turn on BT on my phone ( which is of course not on all the time )
That ensure a normal boot and no " ghost" speed readings from the V1

So i shot with the V2 chono today for 5 hours or so, and aside for one weird slow speed reading ( 375 FPS where i was shooting 870 )
Everything went down smoothly ( +60 shot long string spread 10 FPS with that strange reading deleted from the mix )
Even learned that the H&N pellets my maverick never really favoured, well the FT pellets i shot today ( about 100 of them ) shot pretty damn nice i have to say.

Thursday we are going to try the V2 on my friends DRS again, but this time paired with my old Android 7 phone, which somehow seem to have a say.
Well at least in regard to the connection lost issue that suddenly popped up on my Xiaomi phone ( Android 12 as i recall ) that otherwise before have worked flawless with the V2 chrono.

That 375 fps must be a double reload I bet u dollah amigo….
