Picatinny to Arca adapter loose fitting

I bought a small picatinny to arca swiss rail adapter. It doesn’t fit my M4 or Krait on any of its picatinny rail but fits my Maverick’s picatinny rail.

Noob question, but is picatinny not a standard size “mil spec” in example? See videos below.

Not sure if I can explain this but will try. If the threaded bolt holes on the top pinch rail go all the way through turn the pinch rail around so the thickest part is behind the Pic. rail.

That's odd but you might want to purchase a different manufacturers Arca Swiss to Picatinny adapter to see if it will fit your M4 as the screw attach types are relatively inexpensive, I have one for my Taipan V2. There is also a Vanguard Quick Release version on amazon. You can always return it.....

Weaver and not Picatinny on the gun?
It's not weaver. FX states it's a picatinny rail on the sides.

No name adapter. Just pull the moving side of the picatinny mount off and file down the side that stops against the body of the mount. That will give you the clearance needed for smaller picatinny sections that you try to connect to.

For those new to these types of mounts, those screw heads sticking out keep you gun from sliding off the tripod incase the connection loosens without your knowing.

I would remove the small clamp piece and file off a smidge of material from the small inboard flat. That should allow you to bring your final width dimensions down enough to get a decent bite on your rail. I bet it is bottomed out right now and is too wide.

When you buy the cheapest overseas mystery part, often times the dimensions are way out of spec.

ETA: Should've read all the posts first, @Joedirt199 already covered it lol :ROFLMAO:
