What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

How’s the Krait?
I was just about to message you 😂. This is by far the quietest air rifle.I have ever had my hands on without a moderator! It also somehow shoots the 18.5gr VK as good as the 10.03gr V3 slugs! Even though the 10gr are going like 900fps, so these heavies are likely going around 650, specially since these are .177. But I've popped atleast 16 lizards heads open, between iguanas and jesus lizards. It's also incredibly light, and the damn thing fits in it's case with a scope using medium height rings!

I just want to emphasize, this is the quietest gun i've ever had without a moderator and it beats most guns with a moderator.

Lol. Yeah, it’s my favorite .22 right now. It’s very accurate. Unfortunately, it hasn‘t spilled its first blood yet. It is very quiet. I’m thinking maybe I don’t need a moderator but shooting a more quiet air gun doesn’t hurt plus it won’t spook nearby squirrels. 😂 But the length of the Krait Standard is crazy with how accurate it is too.

Dude that's what I was thinking! I almost didn't buy this off scotay42 thinking maybe I can get the smaller one. But then if I ever want more power, it's gonna get louder. Plus at the price, it was no brainer! Plus I got a ton of ammo out of it too!

I want to try .177 but their slugs and pellets just look so small. Lol. I'm just not convinced yet. But I do love my .17 HMRs.

If convincing is what you want, go through the Hunting section, filter threads created by me and look through them lol. I too love my 17HMR and my 17WSM

I know you do a lot of iguana hunting. Those are probably a lot tougher than squirrels and all you do are headshots. All I do is squirrel hunt (Some pesting for rabbits). But sometimes I do take body shots (Lungs and heart shot). That's my main concern. I would hate to shoot one in the body and have it run into a hole or a tree. With the .22 and .25 it sometimes happens but with the larger wound cavity, it'll be less likely that they will get away.

Understandable, do take into consideration that I normally shoot slugs I hardly ever use pellets, especially in .177 and these slugs that I use have very high expansion.

I'm curious... have you recovered any slugs? Any pictures of how they look like after?

I finally got a tank. Now I understand why you need a real compressor to fill a tank. My gun fills in minutes. This has been running for ten minutes and it is almost to 1 on the gauge.

Tanks are the way to go. It's so much more convenient when you're tuning your air gun. Also, the negative and positive alligator clamps, I haven't seen anyone put it on that way... at least it works.

Today I received my newer CHA347
Fill Station adapter the old new one leaked all the oil out of guage. The old Firemans CHA347 Valve worked great though ,vand now I have working Fill station yea!!! .
I filled the tank to about 4,200 psi then used it to fill my 2 Barra 1100Z rifles I call the twins. It was so great to crack the valve , and fill a rifle that way it was actually very satisfying. I'm sure happy it worked.
Then I found some alphabet like foam mats in a Brush , and Bulky pile someone had tossed away , and repurposed it for a target box , and will shoot some 18 grain pellets into that tomorrow.

What is Lelya OldVet wants to know ?
Old Russian made PCP, it was the first super compact bullpup pcp to be brought into the market. It currently has the bat moderator, but from factory it comes with the shorter one, OAL of about 22.3", with the BAT moderator about 24-24.5" I got one for my buddy just like this but in .25, it makes 45fpe for about 35-40 shots on the reg, and you can make it shoot close to 60fpe. Mine is a .22 and I have it set for about 55 shots with 15.89gr going 900fps
