Alkin W31 Mariner / good value?

Looking at tha Alkin to buy. I saw 68 whiskey had one in back ground on latest vid. Anyone using one of these?
Also UA went up in price in last two weeks by +$400. The image below is the price two weeks ago. I guess tariff or general price increase. Made in Turkey.

I paid $4583.50 for mine back in February. It is the auto Stop version. This price is with shipping included as well as extra set of filters.

Alkin owners We should start a thread! How many hours do you have on your machine. Any maintenance done? Filters, oil, issues? I have 4 hours on my w31. Working like a champ!

If you can afford it, do it and don't look back. One of the best investments I have ever made regarding this airgun hobby.

If you can swing it, it will be the last compressor you need to buy.
Can't tell you how many "lower cost" compresors I went through before getting one - but I would legit have two Alkins if I added it all up.

Yes I’ve read some of the posts about all the issues with CH comps.. I’d rather “cry once.” Been there…

Is the auto drain and auto shut off worth the increase in price?

I believe they are all auto shutoff now, and auto purge is an option. I’ve had my manual W31 for 3 years now, no regrets.

When speaking with the people at alkin, I was told that unless I'm filling tanks all day long the auto drain is not worth it.

They fill so fast it’s not necessary unless you have a bank of tanks or a shop.

Pulled the "trigger" on one just today.. I'm gonna have to eat some crow because I said in another thread didn't want one or something else to trip over.. Yep eat some crow.. Vendor let me have it without the 10% tariff.. Excited to receive it soon..

Excellent reputation for quality, but for 4 and a half grand? Out of my reach. In theory, that is an Epic 2 and a taipan slash. Or mora. That’s hefty.

Just picked it up at terminal. Got it inside. Gotta do some wiiring and read up on it. Price is ouch for sure. actually talked (and bought )with two guys at Alkin both very nice and knowledgeable. Good comfort level from Alkin direct.

One of the best investments That I have made when it comes to air gunning...period. Out of all of the things to be concerned with in the hobby, air is no longer one of them...(and THAT is a HUGE one)

I just received my W31 Mariner this week. I was going to buy from Utah Airguns when the price was $3995.00 and when I went to pull the trigger, I also noticed the price went up $400. I called Alkin direct and they gave me the $3900 pricing. Basically paid $4200 with shipping and added extra qt of oil and filters for first 50 hour maintenance which was included in the price. Not bad!

I misspoke. my W31 Mariner was 4k with 1 qt of oil and 1 extra air and p21 filter. Shipping was $350 through XPO. Total was $4350 vice $4200 as stated above. Don‘t mean to mislead anyone.

Alkin has been great to me. Beat everybody’s price. Shipping for me was $165 and I bought oil and filters.. $4213..total. Somehow the extra qt of oil fell out or wasn’t in shipment. Called them and two days later replacement box was delivered.
Alkin direct delivered, answered all my questions with patience..
Very happy!
