Discovery Knocked it out of the park with this model

Ordered a newer model from Discovery optics "HD" series, This is a 2-12x24 FFP MPVO.

They nailed it. 16oz.
5y, yes 5, and it's accurate and clear 5yrd min parallax.. Oh yes, it does have a side parallax adjustment wheel, One of the main features keeping me away from these compact little scopes Was the lack of adjustable parallax.5-infinity,
MRAD reticle, simliar to their HT VHR type reticle, no clutter. The glass quality is Insane for the pricepoint of $189.99. The adjustments are 1/10th mil, they are audible, very tactile, very defined, solid, precise. Tracking is perfect per usual with D.O.

Very happy, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to lighten up their piece with a compact FFP optic, without sacrificing Magnification power.

It's a FANTASTIC scope for sure! Have one on my Notos, excellent lil scope. I have an older gen1 HD 4-20x50 FFP that for some reason suits my eye, easy large eyebox, repeatable turrets and clarity that matches or exceeds some of my other more expensive scopes! I wish their new ED FFP scopes had the same 10yd parallax, I would purchase one in a heartbeat!

Oh man I love that rifle. Got to be the best stock on an airgun I have seen. Looks Dragonov like.

I have one i haven't mounted yet but based on the mock ups I've done it appears to have more than the listed amount.

As I recall someone else noticed the same thing.
I'm going with what the manufacturer says, I don't actually measure from my eye to the lens. I would say roughly 3 and a half inches is about right.

I'll try to check mine later. As I recall when I mocked it up on both a Leshiy2 & Classic it sat further forward than other scopes with 4" eye relief.

Going to throw in an I agree - great little scope. I bought two of them.

One thing to note for those who sway away from FFP due to thin reticles at the wide end of the zoom, or those who have experienced the thin reticles on the 3-12 scopes - the reticle on this scope is nice and thick at all zoom levels. Illumination is decent for the price too.

I learned yesterday, if you're going to use the Illumination over 5x, you need to have your eye perfect or it blurs. If you're in the eyebox alligned, Perfect. That's the only fault i found. I used the PISS out of it yesterday in the field. 2-5x the IR is perfect. I took out problem animals from 48y min out to 107y

I've noticed the same thing. It's different from a tight eyebox. Mine definitely blurs when out of alignment.

Illumination also bleeds.

But I also want to agree with what @ctshooter mentmentioned - the reticle is visible across the magnification range. Much better than their 4x erector line.

@Roadking - hey this might work well for pistol HFT ??
I've used one in a "Micro" Silhouette match (silhouettes of approximately 0.5" kill zones or less between 5 and 20 yards) with good results. The scope lacks a shallow depth of field that is typical on most FT scopes with large objectives. You can still mount a custom side wheel and range fairly reliably to around 10 yards, Beyond that it gets a bit more difficult to differentiate things yard by yard. I'm sure you could make it work, but it might not be a great choice for anything competitive in FT. I also find some of the reticle markings a bit small (not fine) even at 12x. Any of the half markings are a bit too small for my preference, but the dot markers at 2 MILs are fine for quicker offhand target acquisition.

Keep in mind the eye relief is set up for a rifle, not a true pistol.
