N/A PCP for neighbor

I now have a compressor. My neighbor (79 YO) is the neighborhood squirrel assassin and uses a spring gun and poor critters won’t go into details. He’s a very good friend of mine and I think the world of him. I’d like to buy him a pcp for him to shoot squirrels. As mentioned he’s 79. Good health and all but he, IMO needs something that is is not flimsy and easy to cock and load magazine and etc.
What yall suggest?

Gamo Urban, it is a seriously deadly, simple, inexpensive PCP. Squirrels out to 60+ yards are toast. The sender doing their part diligently of course… Its been out quite a few years and is a proven gun over that time. Should’ve kept mine… The BSA barrel, simply stellar…🙏

Urban is mag fed and will require a scope. No open sights if that matters.

Another consideration the Diana Stormrider Gen 2 synthetic. Light weight 4.6 lbs. Has open sights, single shot tray and mag included. I just bought one last month and use the open sights to hit 1" spinners all day at 25 yds from a rest. Power is fairly high - up to 26 fpe (15.89 at 860 fps) so that might be a consideration or concern. 35 quality shots per fill. $220 at Pyramid Air.

Notos or XM1, simply for the fact they're regulated and good to go out of the box. There is no learning the power curve as you might with an unregged gun. Its either shooting exactly where you want or needs filled. both are going to generate more power than the break barrel.
You can get much pesting done with a simple unregulated PCP… The Urban is a proven arse kicker, regulator simply not needed for its intended use…🙏

I have a .22 Avenger and a .22 Urban with all the stuff he needs to get going. Both are like new. If you pay the freight, I will give one to you so you can give it to him. If interested, PM me. The Urban shoots the cheapie Crosman 14.35gr premier pellets beautifully out to the 35 yards I have available at my home range. The Urban is unregulated. The Avenger is regulated.

Is your friend of 79 happy with his springer?
Does he noticeably have difficulty cocking and loading?
Will introducing him to a PCP, compressors, and their particular quirks be an adventure he is capable of/willing to start?

Asked by a 76-year-old who shoots both

Edward
The OP stated he has a HPAC to fill his neighbors PCP. A simple to use PCP seems the best bet for this neighbor who has proven quite deadly with his springer. No need to overly complicated the gents squirrel killing requirements… A simple, good PCP would simply make that older gentleman smile. Kudos to the OP for his neighborly generosity…🙏
