What pistol did you shoot today

Please go to the thread (Umarex Notos has Arrive) my mods starts on pg 24 or just search Notos mods or Poormans AP16. Below one of the few Notos pistols I made. I just shot it last Saturday.

Well Golly...it's a mini-me...who ever said bigger is better... never crossed path's with you before...I like it a lot...look's like a good winter project...doing the boat thing now...to bad this state doesn't allow us to shoot fish with a air rifle arrow...my new FX M4 would have that Saber Tactical FX Impact Fishing Kit on it

Just putting pellets thru.
There’s a soup can 15 yards out.

I believe I found an effective grip. The can was a confidence boost from yesterday.

I also put some opaque tape on part of my non-dom eye lense of my readers resulting in no eye fatigue. Thanks so much @MrGrey.
Just to clarify. I use the patch on my dominant eye that I use for aiming, and I aim through the small hole in the black flexible plastic patch. This makes the target come into focus even when using reading glasses. The reading / computer glasses make sure the rear and front sight is in focus.

Ok it’s another day …what pistol did you shoot today…running low on pistol’s..so I reached in to the back of my safe and pulled out a heavy weight..hadn’t squeezed that trigger in 20 years…RWS 48..177cal…but the scope was missing…then I remembered…It was being punished for destroying 5 scopes….well let’s give it another try …mounted a Tasco Golden Antler…took it off my 06..never let me down before..took it to the bench and shot the rusted 55 gal drum after a 1/2 dozen shots was close enough to hit paper…walked the target all the way out to 25’…lol…pretty impressive group…lol…by the 5th shot ..# 6 scope had lost both it’s antlers ..another trophy for the case…I have no idea where the iron sights are by now..o-well it’s right back where it came from now…that thing weighs as much as my 50 cal….those gamo pellets are the worst…so how did your shoot go today?

My backyard is 40yds and my basement is 15
Clearly, I’ve much to learn. No shame, just fun.
Looking forward to many tins of smiles.
Thanks for your helpful sharing, past and future.
welcome to a new adventure

Nice day to shoot the twins. View attachment 559730
Very nice set of twins you have there…Well I only have a single child in that model…did a recent rebirth on it…you know born again thing..back from the grave…lol…I was very close to putting that thing in the garbage disposal…I don’t know if you have ever had the pleasure of tearing them down to look like a parts diagram ...the valve assembly can be upgraded if you can find one …I have been on a waiting list for 8 months now…the first design is has different seals inside and a tool is needed to get it apart…I used a pair of bent tip os snap-on snap ring pliers …after fussing with it several times to get everything lined up it was still leaking at the valve assembly…totally frustrated…I found a old timer 2 towns over ..he rebuilt my twins Crosman 160’s…he was a Authorized Crosman Retired Repair Rep…he told me to dry fire it 20 times to seat the new valve inside the assembly..did that problem solve…works excellent now…It’s not the power-fullest pistol I have but it is the funniest gun to shoot by far…making tin can‘s dance at 25’ doesn’t get better than that …and it gets more shots in one C02 than my Reximex RPA and Umarex Notos PCP…I would love to find a pair of twins like yours..unfortunately the Used Value has tripled and they most likely would have to be rebuilt …once is enough for one lifetime…been there done that…lol…that one is off my bucket list

My humble little 2240 (with a few mods).
This thing never fails to impress me. Took a few shots with it today.
That's a 10 yard target (1" outer circles, 0.35" bullseyes) with plain old Crosman 14.3 pellets, nothing special.
I'm not all that good a shot, my vision is lousy, and yet ....
So I gotta credit the gun ... because I can't hit squat with a lot of my others :)

At first I was reluctant to spend any money on the upgrades, but now I'm glad I did. It's a sweet little shooter!
