Cosmic is correct about the gauge only reading to 145 psi.

@dgeesaman, you posted that your gauge took a dump. Do you mean the rubber fill cap was lost or leaked out the glycerin? If so, It is still 100% functional without any glycerin. You could refill the glycerin as it is sold by most pharmacies or you can use the gauge without it. Glycerin is needed for gauges connected to motors which vibrate and cause the needle to shake, making it hard to read. SCBA tanks can use dry gauges as well as glycerin filled gauges since there is no vibration.

I'm curious as to what advantage you get with a digital gauge. The gauge you are replacing is only used to show the pressure you are filling in your PCP. Digital gauges are more precise than necessary for filling an air gun cylinder. A digital gauge would be beneficial to replace the smaller gauge on a fill yoke that shows the tank pressure. The cost vs. benefit to replace the large output gauge just seems a bit odd. There are an abundance of very affordable analog gauges with and without glycerine that are much more affordable than those sold by the vendor of your fill assembly. I've had excellent performance with Durachoice analog gauges from Directmaterial.com. Your assembly uses a 1/4 NPT thread gauge which is a U.S. standard for most gauges 2" diameter or larger. HTH.

1) the rubber cap is lost. I could try to drain the glycerin but that will take a while and probably keep leaking for a while. The needle may vibrate excessively too.
2) my compressor does not have an automatic shutoff and it’s across the garage from my workbench. So ideally I could have a backlit gauge that I could see without walking back and forth. I’ve even seen gauges that will connect via Bluetooth (not so I can walk away, but again to reduce walking back and forth). I was about to buy a digital gauge to replace the one on my compressor but when this one leaked I figured I should explore my options for that instead.
3) I was advised that if the rubber cap is already lost on this gauge, it could be from a tiny leak in the bourdon tube blowing it out and that it’s not uncommon. So while I’m sure I could get an identical replacement I figured the upgraded gauge would be very nice.

It looks like finding a threaded adapter is not trivial. McMaster-Carr usually has what I need but not to bush BSPP to NPT at 300bar.
