Airgun Technologies Very first of Vulcan 3 700 mm and slugs.

My Vulcan 3 700 mm .30 Cal just shoots accurately pellets.

Apparently it might shoot well the AVS Slugs .306 Cal.

Just order some. As soon as I receive them I will try them and will share experience.

This rifle gives about 97 fpe, that means that the 55 grain slugs should be shot at about 900 fpe.

Let's hope this rifle shoot them accurately.... The gain could be a powerful rifle at long distance....

Let's see....

I got a vulcan 3hp .30 last winter and the same not realy great yet. But i knew this going in and have corbin press and die set coming...hopefully any day now. When i slugged my barrel it was .3055 so my dies will be sized accordingly. With the odd size barrel and pushing slugs at 950 to 1000 fps its about 1 inch at 50 yards with various van and javalin slugs. Pellets are 1100 to 1200 so the spiraling everywhere. I have not yet started to mess with the regulator yet but i did get a reg tester. Now im just burning up all the slugs i bought when i got the gun. Hopefull when i start making slugs some will shoot great. Ill be able to make hp, hollow ogive, and x punch slugs. I can let you know when im testing and i can share my insight and or possibly slugs that dont perform for my gun at random weights

I have the same Vulcan 3 700mm, 22 caliber. Today I tried the FX Hybrid Slugs 22 grains. I am shooting with the full plenum at around 950fps. Very windy today but it shot well at 30ft. Will try 50ft soon when the wind stops.

Today I will collect the AVS slugs 55 gran .306 for trying them on the Vulcan 3 700 mm......

As soon as I have them I will let you know.

The unexpected problem is that last night by first time my two older grandchildren (3 years old) slept with my wife and myself in our king size bed.

The bed was shared with the following percentages:

My wife: 7% in the far left, seen from the front.

My grand daughter: 43%

My grand son: 45%

Myself in the far right: 5%

We discovered that my grand son enjoys practicing full contact fight when sleeping, and that has a very effective kick direct to the kidney....

For sure if I try to shoot today I will have the accuracy of an early parkinson's disease.

Hello guys! Been a while since I've been on here but just wanted to say I too now have a AGT V3 .30 that seems to like heavier slugs, 55-62gr at about 920-940fps. I however, am not looking to throw the heaviest piece of lead possible down range, I just want efficiency and more shots with good to excellent accuracy. I'm experimenting with 50gr avs and 51gr zan slugs in .3063 and tuning is new to me. Wondering if any of you have tuned down your V3 to handle lighter slugs and get more shots?
