FX DRS DIY splatter paint 🎨

This DIY garage art was inspired by the Utah Airguns custom shop, and is dedicated to the 80's themed RMAC 2025 event!

I don’t have the means to cerakote any longer, so I wrangled up some less-than-permanent acrylic paint.

What did you use to splatter? The kid in us will have fun.

I used a 1” latex paint brush and tapped it against the handle of a mallet that I held horizontally above the target.

Does acetone take that stuff off (after drying) or do you need to take a plastic scraper to each dot/splatter.

Acetone is really strong. If I ever remove this I’ll try rubbing alcohol first!

Interesting, Jackson Pollack lives. I wouldn't paint mine I prefer black guns.
