Results Meeker's first N50 match of 2025

Thank you to all who came out to face some extremely challenging wind conditions today. It was probably the worst wind that I have shot in at a match so far. We still had a few decent scores but also had more than our fair share of confusing ... what the heck ... head scratching moments??? None the less I think we had a fun time.

Congratulations to Missy for finding two giant morrell mushrooms next to the pond. It was also great to see Jeff return and on the podium after his back surgery last winter.

One might think this was a Halloween match since Rick had a really creepy 666-13X aggregate score.

The last card's wind really ate most of our lunches. It also proved that Mark is indeed human after all ;)

Definitely lots of fun…….

Relay 1 and 2 we had decided winds from 10 to 25 mph, but for the 3rd relay we had wind gust up to 39 mph that’s would change every 5 seconds. I had a clean card for the first 20 shots and couldn’t keep up with the gust and running out of time and dropped 3 points on my last row.

Just to give a little snap shot of the wind conditions from the 3rd relay. The two picture were 12 seconds apart from each other.

Hey thanks Mike. My hold offs were near or past the box line. Really scary holding out there in la la land, in hopes of hitting a bull but it worked … most of the time. My vertical impacts were pretty consistent but horizontal hold offs were OUT there.
Sounds like the kind of conditions I would have rather stayed home and cleaned the toilet. Haha
