FX M3 or king?

Hi, im going to buy a New toy and dont know who to choose.
The king is new and the m3 is slightly used (m3 is 100$ less)
I have had m3 before and kinda know it and was happy with it, but the king has since its realese always been a wet dream.
I shoot for fun and nothing specaial but I am a "power whore" and am abit sceptical to the kings 600mm vs m3 700mm power wise, I will shoot in .25.

Any toughts? :)

King since you've had an impact. I too want a king one day. Ask a specific question get a silly answer that justifies somebodys purchase of a ghost

Don't know what to tell you, but I shoot an M3 in 30 cal at 100 yd matches. It's a good gun. The King? The gun is good, I think, but I don't have a good opinion of the GRS stock. It looks nice and has adjustable cheek piece, but that wierd pistol grip and cast off doesn't help with shooting. And it's heavy. I had one on an Anschutz 22 rimfire rifle and hated it. You could buy the King and install an aftermarket stock like the Saber Tactical, if your budget allows. If you want power, get an M4 or a Panthera.

Trying to come from a different angle. Sure you will get many performance reasons for one or the other. I will just say, seeing that the cheapest king is like 1800-1900 or something that means you are going to pay 1700-1800 for a used M3. Too much no matter what is bolted to it.
Here i can get the king for 1599 and the m3 for 1500.

I've had both the King and M3 Sniper in .30 cal. The King with the moderator is an absolute broom stick. I still used it for hunting but the length does require some extra attention.

As far as power, I added the Huma slug kit to both. The King was more comfortable shooting the 50+ grain slugs while the M3 liked the FX Hybrid slugs and heavier pellets better. The King pushed around 120 ft lbs of energy with 59 grain Zan slugs and the M3 was around 106. Both very, very accurate if you take the time to tune them.

I ended up recently selling the King even though I loved the rifle, the massive length sucked for what I was using it for. I still own the M3 for now. If you are going to be shooting from a bench, or window, the length won't matter. The King seems to respond better and have higher capabilities as far as more power without too much fuss. I know the M3 is capable of more power than what I was getting but I just felt it was pretty close to max for the way it was set up.
