What pistol did you shoot today

Hi it’s marker…correct me if I am wrong…but this is what I heard…that if you are going to store a Co2 gun for a lengthy period…that you should keep it under pressure to keep the O-rings healthy
Used to think that way but I just had to strip the gun completely down to get a stuck C02 cart out.
A couple pumps in a pumper is good to keep the orings tight may be a good thing but as for C02, the only seal is the seal from cart to valve. (This gun anyways) and I would have been better off dumping and removing the cart.
The seal was bone dry and hard, I had to replace it.

Indoor tuning / shooting session today with some springers from the Flash Gordon, Blade Runner and the Marsian Sci-Fi movies.

Feeling lazy today after all day of rain yesterday. Shooting this old circa 1990 build I did, updated with Altarus reg (now set @90 bar) and a 3D grips. It likes this CPHP at 740 f/sec.

Amazing pistol! Great work! It is really a piece of art with the awesome feature that it can be used. Not just hung on a wall.

.177 I made this mess sitting in a chair.
My backyard is 40yds and my basement is 15
Clearly, I’ve much to learn. No shame, just fun.
Looking forward to many tins of smiles.
Thanks for your helpful sharing, past and future.

I have the Beeman P11 version, it's not easy to shoot break barrel pistol. I may add a red dot on mine to see if it helps.

Please go to the thread (Umarex Notos has Arrive) my mods starts on pg 24 or just search Notos mods or Poormans AP16. Below one of the few Notos pistols I made. I just shot it last Saturday.

Note that some springer pistols cannot be shot accurately on hard support, due to the recoil. I have not tried the HW45 though. If your shot series were shot on support, try shooting off hand without support.

Thanks for the tip. Freehand from a chair.
With reading glasses, I see the sights, but the bull is a blur. Without, I get the opposite.

You could try this simple, free and minimalistic shooting hack to see if it fixes your sight / aiming / vision problem. It works very good for me, but might not work for you. It allows me to see the rear and front pistol sight in perfect focus, and the target in good enough focus if I use weak reading glasses. Without it I cannot use reading glasses or computer glasses for shooting due to the target being too blurry.

1) Find a thin (~sticker thin) piece of flexible plastic or similar and cut out a small rectangle or whatever shape you like.

2) Burn a small round hole in the black thin plastic rectangle patch with a small drill bit that you heated up or make a small round hole in some other way that works.

3) Stick two small pieces of blue tack / sticky tack on one side and put the patch on the inside of your reading glasses in a place that allows for having your head in the optimal comfortable position for shooting (middle / center left works best for me for pistol shooting).

You can experiment with different size holes for best focus, but you could also move your aiming point around in the hole by moving your head. You will notice that there are some positions that work really well, e.g. close to the edge of the hole or the middle.

If you use your normal reading glasses which are made to focus pretty close (too close for pistol shooting for me) you can try the next weaker strength level down, then the reading glasses focus further away more like terminal / monitor glasses which works better for me for shooting. PLEASE NOTE, I have experimented with this A LOT and this is how it works for me. It might not work for others. Proper monitor / terminal / computer glasses with the blu tack sticker might work even better than weak reading glasses. For me it works like magic. Good luck.

I did try a quick DIY o-ring hack today to get a working seal in a leaking .22 cal Crosman 38C I have had lying around for a while. It worked OK for 4 CO2 bulbs before the leak got too big. I need to get a proper seal kit for this one. The seal kits only seem to be available in the US though. Fun revolver to shoot. Surprisingly accurate. It is way too loud for my neighbours if I shoot it in my garden though, so I had to use our indoor range in spite of sunny nice weather.
