So I haven’t bought pellets in quite awhile. I was getting close to the end of my stash so I ordered some Meisterkugelns from Amazon. The box came damaged but when I opened it the tins were just thrown in there with a little paper. They had some minor dents but nothing too bad. What really surprised me was the tins had paper labels and one didn’t have any label plus they are a nightmare to get open. Glad I still have some old tins. Is this typical of RWS these days?

That’s all a combo of who is the vendor and typical Amazon handling of these types of items.

Well I was concerned that the pellets were not up to the RWS quality of the old days so I picked the tin without a label and grabbed a pellet, I figured that was as random as it gets, bagged the 300 S and put one dead center. I hope the other 10 tins are the same. By the way,I bitched to Amazon about the quality of their packaging and they gave me a 25% refund

The ones I received from PA were packaged perfectly. The top is painted and the bottom is “paper.”

Glad I kept a couple of old tins. The new ones, You literally have to get your fingernails under the lid and work your way around the tin to get it off.

Of course they were advertised in the old tins. I’m just glad they still shoot like they always did. Just sad for me to see a brand that always meant quality to me resort to stick on paper labels on their nearly impossible tins to open. Rant over. Have a great evening everyone

I can't get good groups out of the tins I have. Tried Beeman R9, Dreamtac long and short, Taipan Standard and RTI Prophet 1. They will work well enough for plinking or close in pesting. Tried fast and slow speeds.

Most of my guns are wadcutter guns. My HW95 is not one of them.
My experience has been pretty consistent in that consistent accuracy goes away not far above 700fps.
I love Meisters in both 177 and 22.

I only shot the one random pellet out of the 10 tins. I’m just assuming they will group like my old ones
