FX DRS DIY splatter paint 🎨

This DIY garage art was inspired by the Utah Airguns custom shop. They built an M4 with a similar “splatter paint” job.

I don’t have the means to cerakote any longer, so I wrangled up some less-than-permanent acrylic paint.

I used a 1” latex paint brush and tapped it against the handle of a mallet that I held horizontally above the target.

Does acetone take that stuff off (after drying) or do you need to take a plastic scraper to each dot/splatter.

Acetone is really strong. If I ever remove this I’ll try rubbing alcohol first!
