Added this to my Sheridan F nickel collection wing. I have to knock the sites off before it creates a problem.

What will you do for a rear sight after removing the factory one? It doesn’t look drilled for a Williams peep.

Awesome collection! I have a 392G and is a great gun. Surprisingly accurate.

Gorgeous! Had a blue Model F about 40 years ago that I had Mac1 convert to dual CO2. It was a thumper for sure! Wish I'd never gotten rid of it...

In my opinion, tne rocker safety Sheridan F's are one of the sleekest air rifles ever made. I had two Silver Streaks and a Blue Streak. The Silver Streaks went to a collector friend. I still have the Blue Streak, which I have modified and converted to bulk fill co2. Getting rid of the O E M rear sight before you end up with barrel/tube separation is a smart move . I cut mine off with a Dremel with a cutoff wheel and screwed on a Williams 5D SH peep sight.

The early Fs are not drilled out at the factory for peeps. When I get my mill setup, I’ll probably make a rear site of some sort. This isn’t a daily shooter so I’ll design something sleek.

If you want to keep the gun original, you might consider spreading the base of the original sight slightly, so there's not as much pressure put on the joint. I use a battery terminal spreader, but it better be a good one or the handles will flex too much to get the job done.
