I notice there is a lot of blowby that hits my cheek while shooting this rifle, coming from the magazine/breech. Is that common with this rifle, or should I be delving into the innards looking for a bad o-ring?

Mine doesn't but if it ever did I'd suspect a dislodged breech "O" ring caused, most likely, by firing without sidelever fully closed. WM

Haven't had mine apart but most PCPs have a round groove in breech which holds an "O" ring to seal air from blowing rearward when sidelever/probe fully closed. Air pressure often ejects "O" ring if fired without sidelever fully closed. Hard abrasives and petroleum-based cleaning products can damage "O" ring but usually air blowback in face follows accidental firing with sidelever open.
