Being that PCP's have been on the market over a decade will they ever be considered "TRADITIONAL" airguns? Nowadays "classic rock" contains songs & artists I don't (or barely) recognize. See what I'm saying?
@Airgun-hobbyist I had this very thought earlier after I typed my initial response."Traditional" nowadays is likely in the eye of the beholder, based on age or generation and upbringing. The Airforce Texan, with it's rear air tank, resembles the original Girandoni pcp, though it is a single shot breech and not a repeater like the Girandoni. Any repeating pcp is historically traditional.

The Girandoni Air Rifle: The Lewis and Clark Expedition's Secret Weapon
Almost entirely phased out by 1810, it was during the Lewis and Clark expedition that the Girandoni air rifle fully came into its own.warfarehistorynetwork.com
A Honda civic is a classic car in Nevada. lol.Do we apply the car/truck yardstick of 25 years old or just rename them "traditionally priced air guns" Nirvana is on the classic rock stations. Maybe somewhere around 2034 they count if we are being picky and discount the girardoni pcp of 1795?
Kinda my point. At some juncture everything becomes a a classic or common use or traditional.A Honda civic is a classic car in Nevada. lol.
