Got to hunt 2 days of opening squirrel season Aug 15 and 17th then my knee went out and spent next 3.5 weeks in house trying to get it better, finally quit swelling up like a basketball so thought I was ready to go again.. well my 87 yr old neighbor had just went in nursing home and had caught covid while he was in hospital before going in nursing home... his wife kept asking me to go visit him which I wanted to do but not really when he had covid, against my better judgement went to visit him wore the mask whole 9 yds and 2 days later I had it. Thought I was gonna die, went thru 2 rounds of steroids and antibiotics for pneumonia and after 3 weeks I finally felt like I could go hunting, hunting 1 hr wiped me out, weak as a little girl still.
Anyway I didnt get in woods till 8:45 and was finished by 9:45, the R10 is a squirrel killer for sure, shot 8 times and killed 5 squirrels and one of those shots was a finisher for grey squirrel I hit a bit low in head. Closet shot was about 13 yds and farthest about 38-40 yds, ammo JSB 15.89 gr moving along about 835fps. Felt good to get back in woods even though it drained me.
