What springer did you shoot today?

Shooting the FWBs, 65 and 80. Was having a ton of fun picking out pieces of gravel in the driveway at 10-15 yards and shooting them offhand. The light was perfect and I could really see the target and the sights.

Air Arms is on the bucket list. Hard choice between the TX200 HC and the Pro Sport.
Can't go wrong with either I would guess. Pros and cons with both, I went with the prosport for a couple of reasons, no rackety bear trap and no cocking shoe issues. But cons with both.

I shot the Stoeger S3000-C. I am going to keep at it and see if it settles down. I am still getting shift of POI at 10m. I know its a cheap rifle, thats a reason I bought it, but i would like to see a little better consistency. I plan on running some chrony to see what it is doing this week.

The top two rows were adjusting the scope and getting the hold right. It seems to like a light grip while resting on the bag.

You taught me something. Thanks for the tip. What cons with the pro sport?
Not as easy to cock as compared to a normal under lever, like a 97K or TX200. But you get used to it and adapt. As with anything mechanical you have to maintain it, screws loosen etc. Overall I really like mine.

did you clean the barrel b4 you shot this ? and tighten all the screws ? distance to target ?

I prefer the TX over the Hunter. And the Pro Sport in my opinion is by far the sweetest.

I like the looks of the Hunter between the 2, but nothing beats the PS. Not crazy on the bear traps which the PS doesn’t have. I’m always sitting, so jacking the PS is simple. Good luck. Crow

Yes I did. I am thinking of doing a complete tear down and inspection. But the reason I bought it was to evaluate it for people that won’t do those steps. So I’m debating it. I will recheck the screws since I only did it when it first arrived back in December.

That was the first cleaning.

Ya killin me smalls..lol.

Suppose to get a reburb hatsan 135 in .25 today so of course I'll be shooting it a little. It's really windy outside so probably not a whole bunch.
Hatsan ended up sending me a.22 not the .25. They told me through a Email that they were out of .22 lol. Oh well, I've got plenty of .22 cast hunter pellets in the 20 grain range. I originally ordered the .22.

Still shooting the 97K at 75 yards every evening as the sun goes down.
I've actually been illuminating my cross hairs for the last fifteen or so shots. I've got white targets on a black back stop which equals invisible crosshairs.
How's it doing at 75 yards? What pellet and scope power are you using?

After supper had a coffee on porch, dragon flies are on the tear today, mosquito hunt.

Took 3 favorites out. HW30 .20. This gun gets better by the day.Such a treat to shoot.

Next up a R9 .20. Love the big honking scope. This gun has magical powers.

Last gun for the night, a HW98 .20. Itwas a dog until a tin went through. Now it meets all expectations.

It stacks pellets until it doesn't. I have been blaming the flyers on the wind, but I just had two evenings of dead calm. I have a vertically level pipe to alighn and shoot groups on.
Early on I had bad fps variations of as much as 30 fps. I blamed that on dieseling. So now it's time to chrony it again, and compare the points of impact with the fps.

The pellets are JBS Exact .20.

The scope is an Athelon 1st gen, 6x24x50 ffp.
The rings are opticaly centered between my 30, and 75 yard ranges.
