Sadley ,it’s Turkish steel.. I saw that on e bay
I just rebuilt a Turkish Tommy and the steel was horid.. Worst gun I’ve had in my hands. They used the Uk Tommy aluminum housing and the trigger springs and that’s it.. Turkish piston as well as barrel.

I also had a transition Tommy with Webley type trigger, it’s NOT THE SAME sears are steel ,which s good but the tempering is bad as well as the angles. The stock is nice ,that being said it’s a bastard gun.

Dont hate me for being truthful.. Remember ,opinios are like a$$ holes ,everyone has one ,and at times they all stink.

You know I respect the Webley‘s John, nice daily shooter for not worrying about dinging it up as it’s not of huge value.

maybe I should listen to my mother ,about the if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything..
🤨

I have both the English Tomahawk and Longbow. They seldom go up for sale.So then what choice do you have to get one, wait a long time or go Turkish. Maybe a fellow can be happy with the Turkish made; after all, people did buy Yugos.:ROFLMAO:
Yeah they almost never go up for sale, so I bought a really beat up one when the chance arrived, but it seems to shoot nice. I’ll check for accuracy tmw and hopefully post some pictures.

That's right! A .22 Tomahawk. It's a hammer shooting 20+ fpe, yet is relatively well mannered all things considered. Fun rifle. I've had this one for 25 years.
I don't see myself parting with my Tomahawks or other Birmingham Webleys. I get attached to guns I like and have to remind myself they're only guns. Not idols

Would be interesting if someone has facts about the SE Longbows to share. Made in Turkey from parts manufactured before Birmingham shut down? Mine doesn't say Turkey on it. Certainly assembled there. Are there standard walnut or beech Longbows that were made in Turkey? Are there Quatro Longbows or Quatro SE Longbows? Some T. Webleys came with a different Hatsan trigger before the Quatros were used. Like this T. Tomahawk has. Below.

Here is a Turkish Longbow picture I found with a Hatsan trigger. Longbow II?

I handled a T. Stingray II with that trigger and it had a strange angle and was creepy. Maybe it wasn't adjusted well?
Share some facts if you have anything about Turkish Longbows. Perhaps parts differences between Brum and Turkish?
And of course some Birmingham Longbow pictures wouldn't hurt.
Longbow SE uses same parts as Birmingham Longbow:
