Shooting Northern Lights

Two nights ago we had nice bright northern lights here in western MT.

Got to see them here too! It was awesome.

Definately show up much better on newer phone cameras. The wife was disheartened when she tried to take photos and got nothing on her old phone but my boss was right next to her snapping crazy colored photos of the lights.

THANKS for the pics. The Northern Lights were a great excuse to drop acid in my youth, but then, who needed an excuse back then. Surprised my brain still functions well (depending on who's asked).

Glad that it wasn't as intense as the Carrington event of 1859. Telegraph operators got electrocuted and fires were started. Who knew?
