Am I a sucker??

Also I have noticed a change in the quote feature in which in operates differently now that contributes to the confusion . It does not copy everything any more but only one item .

Remember when 2 individuals would quote everything that one another had said and all the layers of little red outlines would pop up haha . That feature has been changed and does not work the same anymore .

This seems to be contributing to confusion because a lot of individuals do not read from the very beginning of the thread before commenting on page 3 or 4 etc.

Oh well I tried haha .

How about lollipop? It sounds so much nicer.

Yes, I understand too! Posts are confusing and they run into each other a lot.

It gets confusing when HogKiller quotes Bukshutr ( who is the OP) . .. Both of them were speaking of another individual not to each other from my perspective lol .

You have too read the whole thing and still it can be confusing to some . If you go back to the first page you can see where I implied that if he is a Sucker I would be too because I approve of what he did and would have done the same thing .

I finally get it, thanks for helping clarify it.
I’m often a couple steps behind what’s going on, slow to catch on so to speak.
I definitely didn’t mean to offend anyone, just trying to support what I thought was the right thing.
I was always the last one to catch on in school as well!

There was never a problem with the gun. The buyer probably got busted by his wife that he bought another air gun and told him to send it back.

It also could be the buyer just didn't know how to do it. Maybe trying to use a bicycle pump, or didn't have the right fittings, or who knows...

My original response to the OP was only to say, no, you are not a sucker. Something similar happened to me, I agree with what you did, and disagree with what his son told him. One poster tries to hijack the thread and turn it into a scammers thread, wanting me to out the scoundrel for the protection of all. I get called a POS by Mr. haha from NC. Many seemed to be OK with that, as long as it was not them. Haha then tries to deflect and turn it into a discussion about the new style of quoting in posts and even starts another haha filled post in the forum feedback section. Now, he has these posters apologizing to him for misunderstanding him!

Unfortunately, some members here don't understand one thing-No scammer warnings or scammer list can protect you 100% of the time. As you know, we have had some long time members on here (does ODoyle, YoDoyle ring a bell?) who were rock solid but after some mental affliction or health issues, did a 180 degree turn and ripped a bunch of members off. Yes, use due diligence to avoid getting cheated. Sometimes, no matter what you do, good people will get cheated. As Mother Teresa said: "If you are honest, people may cheat you-be honest anyway".

The best part of all is the one hurling schoolyard taunts and name-calling (Mr haha aka swNCsw) calling someone else childish for blocking him, for not wanting to read any of the garbage he posts.

You know, it was heartening to hear your side of it. I got taken on a snowmobile purchase by a dealer this spring, and I was livid-for awhile. I ordered the machine a year ago, spring ordered a certain package. The salesman screwed up the order and overcharged me for everything, then quit, then the second salesman did more bungling then he quit too, then I got on my third salesperson.

Got the machine and realized what they did. The dealer refused to make it right….main problem was it was a gift for my wife, she was super happy about it and loved it. I fumed for a few days and then realized I’d rather not ruin her enjoyment of the machine. Part of me would like to take them to court and ream them up one side and down the other, but it’d ruin the gift. I can get over it if she’s happy. Just changing who I do business with in the future, and that’s their loss.

It’s hard to get past stuff sometimes. I’m at the point where it’s important to be at peace, and feel less stressed more than anything.

I know I had a one way valve go bad once (or so I thought) it just quit sealing….then one day it just started holding air again…3 years later it’s still holding… weird things happen sometimes.
