FX Drs classic 700

Well so far I have had pull the valve the front cap was loose enough in it's spot the valve stem let air leak by so I found it empty today replaced that orings and now the valve has a tad more preload with the cap turn most of the way in .218 40 gr 860 I was able to get I ran out of 34 gr pellets so it is kinda hard to judge after the valve spring being loose

Why doesn't fx make the rifles from the factory to shoot slugs? They KNOW people buying these rifles will typically shoot slugs, if not you can turn the power down. Just another way for them to squeeze money out of people. Same as the barrels they use.....need a carbon liner, then add more things that should be done at the factory.

Especially when you figure what these guns costs.
Utah just released a video on the drs. They say the 700 mm comes with the slug power kit and heavy liner from the factory. I don’t really get this particular platform for chasing slug power though. Fx makes better options. Shot count has to be pretty bad on these when maxed out. Esp in .25. Just seems like it should be a pellet shooter

Well I didn't get a pin probe on my 700 drs I'll have to look into that

Test shoot em tomorrow I guess. I'm a beginner caster at best so bear with me lol

Red wolf is pretty much a tripod baby or using a bipod and 25 gr pellets are about as hard as I want to push it I have gotten 980 with 34 gr pellets from it but that's really laying it on hard not being a balance valve so my drs was bought with Intention to pour these slugs and hopefully the shoot good I have a lot of lead 36.6 is about what they are dropping for weight

Darn it just got everything sealed up otherwise I would have pulled the plug to look
That is my issue. I don't want to release air to find out.
I think it is for adding a regulator pressure gauge so you know where the reg is set while tuning.
That is what I thought but another member told me no.

I've had mine apart. It is not made for a gauge. My guess is the same as Airgunmann, it is for machining the inside of the plenum.
To add a gauge to the SHP plenum you have to

install an angled manometer bracket.

I am determined to circumvent the angled adapter. I just don’t like it or the idea of having to buy it.
