Whats the longest shot youve ever taken and with which airgun

What's the furthest shot you ever hit on target. Could be a target or a animal. I only use sub 12ftlb air rifles so don't see the true power and potential of these air rifles and air guns. Maybe the uk guys using FAC air rifles and USA guys using your unlimited power & anyone else can tell me what the longest shots you've ever taken and your favourite rifles to use. Springer or pcp or co2.

1,777 yards is apparently the record. I'm a little shy of that, likely around 60 yards is the longest shot I've attempted with an airgun.

285 yards and a dead groundhog. I’ve shot inanimate objects further away and hit what I was aiming at but with my long range gun my confidence for a one shot kill runs out past 290. It’s an M3 PCP .25 with custom machined parts. I couldn’t make that shot with a stocker unless I was willing to walk my rounds in or just hope for a hit. Right now I’m waiting on a 219 yard groundhog and killing time on the forum. Raining so I had to move from the yard to the house. Much more comfortable.

I hate you. 😇

I smoked a crow out of a tree at one of my farm permissions a year or two ago at 225 yds. .25 RTI with 34g H&N's. Took two shots - first one was just a lob out there to see if I could even get close to them ( there were three or four of them in said tree ). The guy that own the property was 'egging me on' ie; "... so how far can you shoot with that thing - can you get them crows out there?" I ranged them and dialed it up. Surprisingly the first one definitely spooked 'em good and we were both like "Whoa . . . ! " Two of the birds took off and the other two circled the tree for a minute or so and settled right back into it. I re-ranged to make sure I had an accurate distance and sent it. Booyah! Both of us (the property owner / farmer) and I were amazed - holy crap! lol!!

I love to shoot longer distances. Beer cans etc are all potential victims. My longest beer kill to date is 250 yards.
Last year I killed a ground squirrel at 205, at least that is what the range finder said. Took two shots because I miscalculated the wind hold.
This year I finally got a ballistic app and stickered up my scope.
Bought a better range finder and it has made a big difference. The morning I stickered the scope I went to a rock face close to the ranch that is a reliable place to find pigeons. They are hard to get close to. Ranged the first one @ 165 with a slight breeze L to R. Dialed it up and gave it a slight hold (cannot remember the exact) into the wind and it fell dead at the shot.
