Daystate Short backyard small things shooting video with my Red Wolf

Hello Airgunners,

Last week I posted my most rewarding trickshot. Fellow airgunner @Perle commented with an inspirational photo.

Yesterday we had a summer day and I had some free time and did not forgot about the inspiration of last week.

I made a short video and hope you all will like it.

Feel free to post your trick shots as a comment too.

Enjoy

Have a great weekend,
Eric

Putting a dead branch in the ground, and then trim it down limb by limb in 1 " segments, that is something both i and my friend enjoy

Adding distance to the challenge just make it even harder, so 25 M no problem - 50 M doable - 80 M and now you miss more than you hit.

Still i often shoot at nettles and what ever growing down near where i put my papers, and it is immensely nice to see one keel over now and then.
I actually prefer to nick the stem so it fall like a tree VS hitting it dead on and it just drop strait down.

A game I used to play with a shooting friend was to put a bath 'rubber duckie' 🦆 out on the grass at 20 yards and the first person shoots it standing, this causes it to bounce further away, making the shot from the second shooter harder. You continue to alternate shooting at the duckie until someone misses, or you are able to shoot it behind a rise or tuft of grass, and the other person cant see it - at which point they win!

Thats great fun the things you mentioned. And of course the bigger the distance the harder it gets. At least in the beginning.

I love to cut grass and dandelions too. Flowers, etc.

To make things harder i use springers, bb guns, open sights. But shooting the Red Wolf is just so nice to shoot with. I think in .177 it will be great too. Or .25.

Reactive targets are just fun and nature offers plenty.

Thank you for your positive and inspirational comment.

My backyard is just a tad small to do this game but we do a simular game with small soda cans or pellet tins and a .......... Daisy bb-gun. Just shoot it from 6m to uncomfartable bb distance. Great fun to do and unlike a Red Wolf a bb-gun has a will of its own.

I like the rubber ducky idea and will bring some to the range in June.

Thanks for the idea👍

In Denmark reactive targets, as in the ones that go BAM when you hit it, is a big NO - NO just like fireworks that go BANG.

So people ( as we are most here ) will go creative to have a little fun, so make your own BANG targets or like we have done shoot burning liquids, and then at the same time nurture your inner photo geek

Another different and fun target video. Making use of random objects to use as targets, just shows you don’t need to stick ( no pun intended ) to paper targets. This is one of the reasons I love BRK and DS rifles, they’re so bloody accurate! Thanks for sharing 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you Matt for your positive comment.

I just love shooting. On paper is nice, long distance is nice but my eyes are not 100% . So thats just hard work. I like almost every facet. Love to see the Field Target as that is top of the Bill. Those airgunners can really shoot well.

I just shoot most in my back yard. Trained off hand with springer this winter. Became a lot better too. So hard to find consistancy that way.

Awesome shooting Eric! I love my RedWolf, it’s a HP .177 and I love shooting the JSB redesigned pellets on low power for exquisite accuracy and very quiet too, with almost endless shots!
And 13.43 Knockout slugs on high power for long range are astounding.
Thanks for sharing your video!
Well done.
Thank you very much. Really curious to .177 HP and sub 12 too. One day I may.

The redesigned go also well in my .22 that hit with a bang.
