N/A Pa Airgun Show Results

Well, I came home with my money so that was not great. All the tables were full but little of interest to me. I saw one D75 that looked like it was dragged behind the tractor last plow season and another that was a walnut stock model and clean except for one flaw. The toe of the stock was cracked and maybe glued. If I had not just found another recently I would probably have been dealing on it. I had hoped to find a clean D54 in .177 but only found one in .22 which I already have. Lots of what in my mind was old relics. A few nice break barrels sporting pretty wood but just a couple. I got to meet 2 fellows from this forum and enjoyed sharing conversation especially with Steve Herr, we seem to have similar ideas about shooting springers. There where 6 of us from our group of springer shooter who attended. Was it worth a day, yes if only to tell me I have had much better luck buying nice clean used rifles off the forums. I guess overall I was mildly disappointed but as it rained all day it was worth the trip.

I thought the show was just fine. I picked up a Crosman 150 from a really nice guy and have been shooting it this evening. The show was more of what I expected than not. I feel gun shows are good for finding and looking at unique things. I saw a lot of guns from my past. If I want to see a bunch of high end stuff, I’ll just hop a flight to Arizona or Utah. Oh, I also spotted a beerthief. Really nice guy.
