HW/Weihrauch The beginning

Took a trip up north to my buddies today. We worked on his range. Here’s a before pic.

I cut at least a dozen trees down to open things up. What a difference. Unfortunately every tree hung up and had to chop 4-5 ft. off at a time and let it drop.

This is finished, got 68 yds. cleared so far. This is where I get 35 ft. poles for my range to hang targets. I brought 2 back today.

Any way this is the guy that introduced me to Weihrauch’s. And this is the gun that changed my ways. He offered it to me, a no brainer.

It’s a HW80 Black stainless. The stock is wood. And it shoots like a dream.

That 80 looks like one I used to own. If I recall, they came from Champs or some store in Canada. However, it was long ago and I could be mistaken.

Your right. They came from a mom and pop shop, the west end of Canada. There were 8-10 of them made. He got his in October of 2016.

I drove about 70 miles. I thought as long as a red flags on, your OK. My buddy I talked to last night, told me 4 ft. is the legal overhang. Didn’t know. Stopped to get gas and my pole was inches away from the windshield of the car in front of me so I could get gas. Crow

It’s a heavy duty paint job. It seems durable. I like the looks. Thanks, Crow

Is your 80 full length? The angle makes it look like a K model. I have a K that I bought from Kingfisher 61.

I like the looks of that. Muzzle end looks Hollywood. Nice jewelry.
