Anyone else miss FX USA

So FX doesnt set a price for their replacement parts? UA or anyone else selling factory replacement parts can set the price to what ever they want? That seems strange to me.
I misplaced the safety lever and screw on my FX Crown , just a few weeks ago.
I called UA, and they had them in stock!
WHAT!
I did not even ask the price, they shipped it, and it was less than $5, plus shipping.
I was extremely impressed!
I have placed numerous orders with UA, and have always received great service, fast shipping, and fair prices, in my opinion.

I have ordered mutliple times from UA. I get it quick but its because I live in MT. They always take at least a day after the order to process the order. Example: I ordered a part on the 22nd and its still in processing. I sent a text today with a question about the part before it shipped making sure it was correct and never got a reply. I was hoping it would ship today so I would have it for this weekend but looks like its gonna sit in processing for more than two days.

I think it is damn nice when you get a actual presence from a brand making,,,, whatever.
And not just some marketing guy in a back office which is what you often get, but people that actually listen and know stuff and are able to make things happen. hell in Danshcams we have even seen a few brands where the actual boss of the company would be the one you talked to.

On the Dashcam forum i still need to beat a guy like that, even if we had been on there for just about the same time, he just out posted me as he was extremely helpful with all brands and had much knowledge to share, and he was there almost 24/7 though so am i to a large degree.
A prepense like that i find extremely nice

And the guy died like 2 years ago, and i have still not past him in the forum rankings. :)

Good morning
Allow me to begin by saying thank you to Utah Air for providing me with some parts, as well as excellent technical advice (via Shane) regarding my Crown.
I have also bought a few items from Cape Fear (910), but have not dealt with them directly.
What I do not know is the depth of either's parts inventory or the number of staff dedicated to servicing FX owners.
And in that lies the rub.
I imagine that FX USA had a huge parts inventory AND a direct line to Sweden should something less common be needed.
Although as importers of FX they did broker the guns to authorized sellers, they were not retailing them
Their sole relationship with FX owners was warranty service, repairs and parts.
A plain and simple routine without any ulterior motive for marketing
As an FX owner i found this to be very comforting.
I do miss them as a business., and as a group very proficient and polite people.

I wish the employees well, and hope they can find gainful employment continuing what they do best

Edward

yeah it would have been nice to be able to deal with the company directly as they would know their product more.

maybe it was a cost cutting measure.
I dont know first hand but reading other reports I would have to say thats not it. Sounds like FX USA had fraud and theft going on and thats why FX cut ties.

ah okay , didnt know what. I was looking at the fx m3 and since this would have been my 1st air riffle and spending quite a bit of money I wanted good customer service.

after sleeping on it I think it would be best if I consider something cheaper just to get my feet wet. looking for something good for 100 yards to about $1k and it looks like the a lof of people recommend avenger ,.. do they mean air venturi avenger ??
