N/A No more interest in PCPs

Well what I'm trying to say......

Lets go back a minute, for almost 2 decades into PCPs I sure had my favorites but I still loved to read and follow other guns, loved to follow new guns coming out and so and so now,

Since I got my Hubens I really don't spend hardly any time reading about other guns, I might chime in once in a while if I see something that looks very nice but in reality I lost all interest in any other gun.

I get it. I have felt similar since I got my Huben K1 in 2021. I still read about some of the new things, but not with the same interest in how it might work for me. The functionality of the Huben is so great that it set such a high benchmaerk. If it were a little bit more accurate I'd give up on eveything else.

The only thing that came along that I was willing to try was the Sidewinder - and while it is a great gun I don't find it as pleasant to shoot. I might be interested in a Steyr, but I think I'd have to shoot the actual gun first to really want to buy it.

About the only thing that would get me interested might be something truly special, like a Thomas or such . . . but that is such a heavy lift financially.

for me, theres so much more to it than just the gun ... it's like the hobby guy that works on hot rods has several of them some better than others and all kinds of tools and he sells everything he's got and gets a Lamborghini Huracan, he just sits back and considers himself done and on top .. sure, now he has bragging rights and looks cool but he stopped accomplishing anything or learning anything ... now what lol

Look don't get me wrong I'm by no means saying this is the best gun out there like I certainly never said that when I was heavily into Evanix or Korean lever actions/ Big bores,

the difference in the past I still had interest in what else was out there and used to read a lot, now ( maybe it's also that there's so much in the market ) I just have not much interest in reading about other PCPs

Also,......in the past there was very little written about the guns I liked ( I probably was the one talking about them the most :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ) Now there's so much chatter about Huben so I mainly enjoy reading about that, and then there's my tendency to only stick with one platform.......but that is a subject for an other thread ( maybe in the next couple days :ROFLMAO: )

same here, i don't have much time to shoot , but when i do , it is the GK1 pistol/CARBINE. all of my other a/g's will be leaving when i get time to sell them , i think my search is over , thank god... it has been a very expensive habit..

If Huben comes out with a K1 with removeable mag so it's can be rendered completely safe and is easy to clean, I'm in for the second iteration. Come out with .30 as well, even though the shot count would be low, and stick with one barrel manufacturer so you know what the heck you have and whether it shoots pellets or slugs or both. Yes, I have owned Hubens in .22 and .25. Maybe FX could make a semi auto on the Wildcat platform, it would look very similar to a Huben. I have had a love/hate relationship with PCP's for 27 years. Right now, it's more hate than love. I am ready to sell everything like I did once before.

What do you like most in Huebens? The power? The innovative air powered action? The only thing that seems like it could be an issue to me is cleaning them. It seems like the best way is to pull the barrel. Not an every day task but still it seems significantly more difficult. I also like magazines I can put in my pocket. But I am confident they are nice guns.

Once again I'm by no means saying the Huben is better or more accurate then any gun out there they just fit me.

I would consider a full sized rifle or the BullPup if they ever come out with an Unregulated version.

I actually really like the fixed magazine, unless I'm going into battle I have no need to exchange magazines fast I'm just fine reloading 17 rounds in the drum
